X-ray Stress Measurement

Subject of Study

Residual stress measurement in nitride semiconductor films by using X-ray diffraction (residual stress, X-ray diffraction, sputtering, nitride semiconductor films) (高い音響速度と圧電特性に優れるため弾性表面波素子や高周波フィルターへの適用が期待されるAlN,青色発光ダイオードで知られるGaNなどのIII-V族半導体薄膜をスパッタリング法により廉価なガラス基板上へ堆積させる.得られた膜の特性評価として主にX線回折を用いて非破壊的に残留応力を調べている.そして,残留応力の発生機構を解明し,良質な膜を得るための最適な堆積条件を見つけることを目標としている.)
