Nutritional Physiology

Subject of Study

Protein and amino acid requirements, Regulation of Food Intake (Protein Requirement, Appetite, Nutritional Requirements) (We are estimating protein requirements in adults mainly by nitrogen balance method and investigating new parameters in the estimation of protein requirements. We also analyze the factors which affect human protein requirements. We study the regulation of food intake, especially protein and amino acid intakes from the nutritional point of view using rats as experimental animals.)
