Subject of Study

LSIレイアウト設計に対するCADアルゴリズムの研究, 最適化問題の解法に関する研究, 遺伝的アルゴリズムやニューラルネットワークの応用に関する研究 (LSI, CAD, layout design, algorithm, genetic algorithm, neural network) (LSIのレイアウト設計におけるフロアプラン·配置·配線等の諸問題に対して,それらを計算機で自動的に設計するアルゴリズム,あるいは人が設計する際に助けとなるツールのアルゴリズム等に関して研究している.また,遺伝的アルゴリズムやニューラルネットワークを用いて,上記アルゴリズムを開発することも研究している.)
