Study on the Inhibition Mechanism of Glycyrrhizin against Phospholipase A2 Activity (carbon tetrachloride, glycyrrhizin, phospholipase) (Carbontetrachloride induces liver cell injury. The fact, this injury is inhibited by phospholipase A2 inhibitor, indicates that phospholipase A2 is included in this process. Because glycyrrhizin inhibits cell injury induced by carbon tetrachloride, it is possible that glycyrrhizin interfere with activity of phospholipase A2. To clarify the inhibition mechanism of glycyrrhizin against cell injury induced by carbontetrachloride, I am studying on the interaction between phospholipase A2 and glycyrrhizin, and gene expression pattern of liver cell treated with carbontetrachloride and/or glycyrrhizin using RT-PCR and microarray method.)
